"That’s a very bright torch!" is perhaps one of the biggest understatements in a long while from the R and D team at 7dayshop towers.
This very bright CREE Q5 LED torch utilises the very popular and well documented low profile Cree XP-E emitter, with a Q5 output bin, coupled with the PMMA lens produces a very efficient and superb light giving a maximum of 100 lumens. **Do not be duped by FALSE Lumen figures given on a lot of other CREE LED torches sold on seller platforms and auction sites. It is not possible to achieve 900 Lumens at this price point! Anyone can print spurious numbers to make a torch sound like it will be bright **
So bright, could it be classified as a weapon? Not that we are condoning pointing it in the direction of someone’s face or looking directly into it. Just saying that IF required it will definitely render someone momentarily blind should you find yourself in a late night sticky situation!
At first glance the torch appears extremely high quality, once in the hand this feeling is further backed up. The incredibly strong outer casing is constructed from Aerospace-grade 6061T Aluminium Alloy and at 29mm diameter is a good comfortable width. At the tech end of the torch, the heavyweight lens protection bezel measures 35mm in diameter. It is here that the anodised green, ‘magnetic click’ zoom focusing ring is located. It is excellently designed and I feel a better and faster way of zooming than the ‘push/pull ‘ style.
The four section rectangular cut outs running down the length of the body provide ample grip and are a refreshing aesthetic change from the typical heavy knurling or hatching style associated with a lot of torches.
The 3 x ‘AAA’ Cell batteries batteries are simply loaded into the cartridge through the shaft and once loaded the whole lot weighs in at just 160g. The end cap has a thick rubber O ring creating a water tight seal (I ran it under the tap with no problems at all) and also comprises a high quality strong spring giving a solid connection.
The body is finished off with a simple raised push on/off rubberised button; this button offers 3 ‘click’modes.
1 click for Full Power mode
2 clicks for Low Power mode
3 clicks for Strobe function
The lens is constructed from PMMA which is a clear plastic acrylic material which is often used as a replacement for glass. It is also used in a lot of high quality lens based products owed to its very clear and bright nature - PMMA is commonly used in places where shatter-proof glass or windows are required, such as the puck barriers found in ice-hockey rinks and you have seen what a clattering they take! Essentially that makes this lens very bright and incredibly hard wearing.
To summarise, this torch is ideal for 'every day' use as well as many outdoor pursuits given its size, water resistance and durability. Anyone into camping, fishing etc will be more than impressed. At this price point it’s probably worth keeping one stashed in the car glove compartment or in a Photo Kit Bag (you never know). We deliver from our dispatch centre in England to the UK Mainland, Highlands & Islands and Ireland (ROI).
All dispatch and delivery times are as accurate as possible, in exceptional circumstances these can vary slightly.
We regret that it is not possible to collect your order from our warehouse.
Oversized items cannot be shipped via Royal Mail and therefore, if your order contains an oversized item, DPD Express Courier will be the only available shipping option.
An important note about Lithium Batteries
We can only ship Lithium Batteries to UK Mainland and Highlands & Islands but not to Ireland (ROI).
Due to recently introduced legislation, Royal Mail are now unable to deliver Lithium Batteries through their network. This means that any order containing Lithium Batteries must be delivered by our express courier, DPD. Whilst we realise that this adds a cost to your order, we would urge you to combine multiple products into one order to achieve the best value for delivery.

Great torch
Great quality torch, as good as the LEDLenser. Brighter than expected, small and easy to carry, focus/zoom works well.
Well believe it or not, I use it as a torch! It's good value and works as described.
The 7dayshop Cree Q5 didn't work at all. I hope this is a rare occurrence as I have asked for a replacement
excellent product,robust,well made and very bright and very hand especially the on/off button being on the handle and not one of those silly tail cap buttons!!!
This is a very bright torch, I've ordered this sort of thing from the far east in the past and this is just as good although the styling may not be quite as cool, but that might just be me!

This is a fantastic torch for it's size. I've had bigger torch's that aren't as powerful and the focus facility makes it very versatile. This would be an ideal torch for anyone.
Nice solid aluminium construction, Light output is excellent Beam can be a little narrow at widest setting when in close quarters, but for the price I couldn't recommend it more highly. Throw a set of three Eneloop rechargeable batteries in there, and you have a torch that just keeps going. Leave it in a bag, in the car, near the door (at this price - I'd buy one for each) Superb every-day torch

I already have a LED Lenser with a Cree chip and it's a great flashlight. However at much less than half the price I bought this flashlight and I haven't been disappointed. It feels well made and the quality of light is top drawer.

I have a couple of Led Lensers so its an interesting comparison considering these are a third of the cost. The LED technology is slight different but taking both the 7Day Torch and the LED Lenser they both have their pro's and con's. The 7Day Q5 has a simple one handed operation to change the beam from flood to spot with a bright white light vs a warmer torch light from the Led Lenser. Its sits nicely in your hand when walking, not too small or too large. Is the LED lenser better, a little, would I buy more of these. Yes.

Torch is amazingly bright and great value. Would have been 5 stars but for 2 things, no wrist strap or loop to put one on. It is also annoying to have to go through all 3 modes to get back to the brightest. But for the price - small problems.

I am going to find a means of fixing this to my bike, so that when the long winter nights return, my commute will be illuminate like the sea front at Blackpool. Handy to have a flashing facility, and the variable and focused lens is a great boon for such a reasonable price. So cheap I purchased 2.

Excellent. Fits in a pocket and superb output. Seems very solidly built. Only critisism is the rather naff '7' stuck on it.
I use the torch when I take my dog for a walk as we live in the countryside. The torch is robust yet not cumbersome, it has a good light pattern on it. If you want a good well made robust torch that doesn't cost a fortune, then this is the one.

Good value torch providing plenty of light. Would prefer not to have to cycle through the bright/off/dim/off/flashing/off modes to get back to the bright setting! But despite that - recommended.
Torch works well - loses a start though because I'm less keen on the switch which 'cycles' between bright / off / dim / off and flashing / off so sometimes several presses are needed to switch onto the required setting (it always follows the pattern).
The torch is used for camping and night exploration by a keen Boy Scout. Very bright - fantastic quality! No problems with the torch and it is surviving the usual abuse small boys met out.

Was really surprised at the distance this small torch could throw its beam of light.
Not quite 180 lumens, I'd estimate 140 compared to Maglite 105 but excellent quality and focussing lens. Unbelieveably low price.

These batteries certainly appear to be very good but there are to many for the torch but I am confident they will be most useful to power other items using this size of battery.
