Father Christmas has started his annual present delivery run across the world and you can track his progress right now – with a little help from rival tech companies Microsoft or Google.

St Nick’s journey has been tracked for more than 50 years by the North Amercian Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) and it has teamed up with Microsoft for a second time on its tracker, reports the BBC.

The Norad Sanata tracker – the full website can be found at www.noradsanta.org and offers games, movies, music.

Google has also created a Santa tracker with interactive features as well. You can find the tracker at https://santatracker.google.com/#tracker
