Description

You will love this feature packed and amazing value shock absorbing walking stick/pole that doubles as a photo / video mono-pod.

Its standard 1/4 inch screw fits 99% of cameras and camcorders.

Using as a walking pole, you can get better support over long walks, hiking, trekking, up or down hills and over rough terrain. A tightly sprung mechanism with up to 5cm of "give" will soften impact with hard surfaces. Some customers buy 2 for extra comfort.

The super-tough ABS handle offers a comfortable grip and features a useful extension for downhill walking..

As well as a tough metal ground spike, a regular rubber foot is already fitted and safely covers the ground spike. There's also a 3.8cm diameter circular mud foot for soft or wet soil, a 8.4cm diameter snow disc and a curved rubber paw-foot for improved motion when walking.

Using as a monopod, you can better hold steady your camera or video camera – useful for telephoto or longer exposure work.

The camera head can be unlocked, pivoted over and relocked with the collar. Unlike other monopods, you can use your camera in the vertical/portrait position and the horizontal/landscape position.

To use as a monopod unscrew the compass unit and expose the standard fit 1/4 inch tripod screw.

User Notes

Extend the leg by turning the leg anti-clockwise. Pull the leg to extend but try not to pull too far. On each leg there is a clearly marked "stop" to advise of its maximum recommended extension length.

To then lock the leg, turn clockwise but please do not over-tighten. Once fully extended the largest diameter leg features a height guide for reference.

If you do pull the leg out of the unit it can be reinserted, but try to avoid doing it.

This clever locking and unlocking mechanism works like most others on the market so its not a design fault. Just be careful when extending the legs and you'll be fine we promise.

We are aware that the compass is not particularly accurate and we would suggest that you do not depend on its accuracy, but it looks nice and does act as a protective cover for the tripod screw.

Excellent product. came on time.
18/09/2016
Useful for my slightly larger than compact camera. Mostly seems fairly robust but plasticky inner surface of canvas-like concstruction material begins to come a way after a few weeks. Not yet a problem but may make it less water resistant after a while.
18/09/2016
great buy and one of the best on the market and low price
18/09/2016
It is just what I was looking for. A good lightweight walking pole that doubles as a monopod for my camera!

Item perfect for intended use.
29/08/2016
Have previously purchased a similar item at twice the price, this item is obviously the same thing.
29/08/2016
Low price for a combined walking stick/monopoly.
29/08/2016
Very light and useful, one slight problem is that when a camera is s reed on it can end up at a strange angle see picture. A locking nut or washer would help. Better value than the dearer Hama version which has less accessories.
29/08/2016
Good value and pleased wit the shock absorbing pole
27/08/2016
Easy to use walking pole ,Comfortable hand grip. 1/4 inch camera bolt safely covered by small compass housing. Works well

25/08/2016
Little disappointed that the walking stick/monopods I purchased. They don't work as well as I'd have liked. Because there is no 'lock nut' on the camera mount thread (fundamental design manufacturing flaw), you can only tighten the camera on until it's secure, at which point the camera is at a weird angle meaning that you can't simply flip between portrait or landscape 'mode', which is one of the main selling points of the item. Not bad walking poles though, but I bought them to use as camera supports, which they don't do that well. Probably why they'e heavily discounted.
23/08/2016
Only problem is with learning how the extending leg works. It is not very obvious but once worked out it is fine. Used it once as a camera support so far, and as a walking stick. Pleased with it, especially at the price.
23/08/2016
seems to do the job. not tried it yet in the field but happy with the way it feels and works so far

22/08/2016
The only reason I am giving it a 'good' and not an 'excellent' is because of the inaccurate compass. 7dayshop advised me of this problem, so I knew about it. I purchased the item, anyway, as a monopod for my camera, not as a walking pole, so the compass was irrelevant for my use. I am very pleased with the purchase as a monopod for camera use.
22/08/2016
Had one of these before. Walking stick handle doesn't look as obvious as a normal walking stick if you have bad hips or knees. Very good value especially at sale price. Performs well.
21/08/2016
Does every thing I wanted, took a while to figure out how to lock the extentions.
21/08/2016

17/08/2016
The stick does everything it's supposed to and folds down to carry on the backpack.
17/08/2016
Very good value monopod/walking pole however the "compass" is purely decorative and should not be used as a navigational tool!
16/08/2016
Really very good value and a very useful item.
16/08/2016
Handy to have on a walk - helps with steady photos too!
15/08/2016
The pole part is very good the handle is a bit of a joke. However it was bought for building into a wooden stick so the handle has been cut off, and the pole cleaned up ready for incorporation in the new stick.

14/08/2016
Excellent product for the price
13/08/2016
Being dual purpose makes this much more useful on a walk used as a walking stick it's as good as most stick's with the bonus of being a mono pod to capture the scenery. As the description says the compass isn't up to much other than covering the camera mount but a bargain on offer.
11/08/2016
Sturdy enough for use with a DSLR and light/small enough to easily carry

A walking pole with a bit extra. A very useful piece of kit. Would have preferred the pole when folded to be shorter to fit the suitcase better but, hey-ho, it will do for the price. Quite a sturdy item.

Have looked for a monopod for a long time. I couldn't believe that you could buy one as cheaply as this. Excellent value for money.
21/06/2016
Used today at Wimbeldon, it was perfect as it takes up less space then a tripod, it is light weight and very easy to use.
19/06/2016
Just shy of an 'excellent' rating, as the stick is a bit stiff to adjust the height. the sprung end works well over rough ground. I've not tried it as a monopod for a camera yet, but lit looks like it would be just fine for that use.

Not the best monopod in the world, but a really convenient compromise to have the walking pole handle as well. Good value for money.
04/06/2016
A well made ,multiuse product.
02/06/2016
I wish it collapsed to a smaller size, but it fits the bill.

Very good for its cost, the handle could be slightly more ergonomic in design, but the anti-shock works, not quite sure why its designed to look like an ice axe.
01/06/2016
I bought this monopod to take on holiday with me to the North Yorkshire Moors. It served very well as both a convenient support for my camera and a quite sturdy walking pole. Whilst it may not be the most robust monopod around, for the money I paid, I would say it was excellent value.

Use product for walking and using my camera saves me carrying extra tripod when walking. Good value for a good product.
28/12/2015
Not recommended as sub standard quality
27/12/2015
Easily understandable with the instructions provided.
24/12/2015
work good for me
16/12/2015
Bought as Christmas present.Appears to be a very useful gadget. The adjustable walking stick will be very useful also makes a good monopod.
15/12/2015
Such a handy thing to have by your side if your serious about good quality pictures.
05/12/2015
I use the product when taking photos it enables me to leave my walking stick at home using this product to replace my walking stick also help steady the camera.
02/12/2015
As before, always hard to beat.
29/11/2015
I wanted this to steady my bridge camera when used on high magnification. Not used yet but appears good quality, with plenty of accessories.
17/11/2015
The walking pole could have been a bit more longer as a mono-pod but that is a personal issue, The handle however is modeled on a climbers ice axe and could be looked at as being a weapon of sorts
16/11/2015
this is a great product and very useful when out and about
16/11/2015
I will be using the the pole both as a walking stick and for stabilissing my camera.
16/11/2015
This product is exactly as advertised by the website: it is a good walking pole, with a tripod bush covered by a compass which should not be relied on for accurate navigation. I have not yet tried to use it with a DSLR, but I bought it primarily to use with a compact camera, and it works really well with it.
16/11/2015
very good build and price will recommend
16/11/2015
Great value on special offer - seem to be reasonably robust and light weight. Handy to be able to use as a monopod as well as walking pole.
16/11/2015
Bought for Christmas present for wide (ssshh). Cheap as chips, and really useful
02/11/2015
Very well built, comfortable & light and for the price i say it cannot be any better buy than this.
28/10/2015
Service on this occasion as good as it has been over the years I have been buying from 7ds.Usually very Good!
15/10/2015
Cracking product, can't say that the compass is a lot of use but the pole and monopod option are great.
15/10/2015
Average piece of kit ! not really very sturdy..
14/10/2015
First rate product, for the price. I've seen the exact same item around for between 2 and 3 times the price. The only thing missing from this monopod is a ball head. Fortunately, a friend has given me a spare one, but it must weigh as much as the monopod itself.
06/10/2015
I use this product as I am a keen amateur photographer and also a keen dog walker. It represents excellent value for money and will easily support my compact camera and my bridge camera. I think it would easily support a DSLR and standard lenses. Long lenses might be a struggle but I guess if you are using such specialised eqipment, a tripod is really the answer.
05/10/2015
Well made monopod/walking pole combination - telescopic for all heights.
25/09/2015
Useful for anyone, and the camera mount seems very useful - that is why we purchased this particular pole
16/09/2015
When out walking and take my camera
09/09/2015
OK for the price but not very stable with even a small camera on it. As a walking stick it is alright though. The accessories are not very good at all.
28/08/2015
I would reccommend if to any walker and camera enthusiast. It is light weight and versitile
25/08/2015
Use for walking and camera support recommend to anyone interested in both. Quality is fine yet to test on long walks
21/08/2015
Whilst out walking with my camera, I have used it as a monopod.
11/08/2015
An excellent product and top quality. Great value at this price.
31/07/2015
A good multi use product
30/07/2015
Ideal as a walking stick. Have yet to use as a monopod but it looks like it is up to the job. The compass is a bit naff as it is stuck in one position but that isn't what I purchased this for.
27/07/2015
Far better quality than I expected with extra stoppers, a small compas and comfortable grips
27/07/2015
Mane use is as a monopod for camera. Also very good as a stick. The spring inside makes for a good shock absorber when using as a walking stick. Ideal for photographers. Build is good. Only criticism is there is no stops on the poll sections if care not taken the section can come apart when fully extending.
21/07/2015
Great value for money
14/07/2015
I use the stick on a daily basis, and particularly like the suspension feature. I use the monopod too but a lot less frequently.Good if you need a walkinng aid and are also a keen photographer, recommended.
14/07/2015
I use the product as a walking stick and a . monopod
14/07/2015
I use it as both a walking stick and a bipod for my camera
14/07/2015
Monopod is not for anything heavy, and it is difficult to lock/unlock legs as the twist control is very stiff
14/07/2015
excellent for go pro
14/07/2015
Great for my Sony RX100/3 provides superb support
13/07/2015
Great price for a quality product which can be used in various configurations.
13/07/2015
Excellent
23/06/2015
Bought mainly to use as a Monopod for my Canon 1200D DSLR and does this perfectly but I'm sure as I advance in years I will use it for walking too! Extremely sturdy construction and easy to use, the compass is a bit of a toy but useful for protecting the stud for the camera. Similar items selling for more than twice the price elsewhere online.
20/06/2015
the horizontal handle is somewhat small but everything else is fine
20/06/2015
I first noticed this product on the website when I was researching monopods for a friend. I read the product information and reviews and recommended it to my friend as he is a keen walker. I thought this would be a bit more versatile than the monopod he was looking for. He was delighted with it and let me try it on a day out. I was impressed with it too. So much so that I bought three. One each for my two sons and one for myself. They are keen campers and the pole is ideal for them when they are out and about with the added convenience of being able to attach their cameras to it. I use it more as a lightweight monopod as I am not as fit as I was and it saves me lugging about a heavier monopod when I go out to take pictures. I have found that you can extend the pole to the maximium height to take pictures but when walking it is more stable when the two sections are reduced in height by 2-3cm. It is a very useful pole and the additional feet for various terrain are a bonus. Highly recommended.
20/06/2015
good
28/05/2015
Good multi purpose hiking pole. Well built and easy to use.
28/05/2015
Excellent for my canon camera will always carry it with me.
28/05/2015
Excellant
26/05/2015
I use it while walking in the Wicklow Hills. Great product for walkers and photographers
26/05/2015
I used this with my bridge SLR camera it works well with the camera at full magnification helping to keep a steady image. I recommend it to anyone
26/05/2015
This item was purchased as a gift so I do not use it although I have something similar. I purchased this particular walking pole because it was highly discounted and I gave it to someone who is a beginner in photography. I know the brand so the quality was not an issue.
22/05/2015
The poor quality of the compass is potentially dangerous but otherwise the pole is a well made product, good value and fit for purpose.
13/05/2015
good solid stick great for my camera and walking up hills
11/05/2015
Haven't used it as yet but it would seem to be a useful item.
10/05/2015
Good quality product at a great price. Only used this once so far for mounting my camcorder and it worked fine - certainly keeps your arms from tiring while filming for long periods.
08/05/2015
Excellent value. Written instructions would be helpful.
08/05/2015
Excellent product.
07/05/2015
Appears to be robust enough although not yet had chance to use it. Plenty of accessories with it but could be improved if the plastic self seal bag that came with it was bigger so that all the bits could be kept together.
07/05/2015
Good product at a very good price.I would reccommend 7Dayshop to anyone
07/05/2015
Paid more than this for a new rubber end for existing (expensive) pole. Great value and comfortable to use.
06/05/2015
Good sturdy product, but would benefit with some form of "stop" when extending the legs. The little compass on the top was broken and 7DS could not replace this.
06/05/2015
Amazing product for the price - haven't used it yet.
06/05/2015
good quality, good price
06/05/2015
very good and excellent value
06/05/2015
Ordered before, great value
06/05/2015
Haven't had a chance to use yet but have every confidence in it as 7dayshop items are always of a very good quality.
04/05/2015
Bought primarily to use as a camera support, which doubles as a walking stick - unusually, it does both well. There is a compass that doubles as a cap for the camera screw thread; as a cap it works well, as a compass it doesn't work at all. In fact, i have replaced this toy with a hemispheric piece of wood, with a screw thread cut into it, which makes the walking stick function better as a walking stick. I have been very satisfied with this purchase; every photographer with an interest in landscape should have one!
02/05/2015
excellent
30/04/2015
A good deal
23/04/2015
Excellent. Used a few times. All good.
23/04/2015
After pulling a thigh muscle quite badly I realised a walking stick would be very useful, and needing it quickly I knew I could rely on 7Dayshop to come up trumps. I chose this stick because the reviews seemed positive and it is adjustable. Adjusting length is very easy. I had taken careful note of other reviews warning against fully removing a section. The first time you do it extend it very carefully so you know where the maximum limit is, otherwise it could be too easy to pull the section too far accidentally. Used as a walking stick the section with the camera thread folds forward to enable a better grip. Initially I found the wrist strap got in the way, but soon learned how to move it out of the way. My thigh has just about healed now, so I've stopped using the stick, but while I needed it it was a godsend. As a photographer I hope to make use of the monopod facility. The thread is simply that, and to attach the camera you simply screw it on. When my camera is fitted securely the handle sticks out to one side; aesthetically not good but doesn't affect the operation as as monopod. In portrait mode it seems less satisfactory. When the the camera is secure it is unlikely to be facing perpendicularly forward. I haven't tried it as a hiking pole so I can't really comment. As others have said though the decorative stars on the vertical handle are uncomfortable and is a design fault. If you want it as a hiking pole you will either have to wear gloves, add padding on the handle or file the stars off. All in all though very good value for money.
21/04/2015
I intend using the stick specifically as a monopod but it will useful when out walking
18/04/2015
Product seems well made and although I have not used it in the field yet I have checked its functionality. It's is sturdy and is easy to adjust and attach camera.
16/04/2015
Used this for my online course assignments, improved the video I took . Much more stable .
15/04/2015
The only problem when extending the leg there is no stop and if the leg comes out to far you cannot shorten the leg
15/04/2015
for the money paid it was good value as being disabled any help is good and it helps me to take pictures
15/04/2015
Excellent Walking Pole with useful features such as variable fittings for the foot of the pole to suit different ground conditions - mud, snow hard rock etc. Very useful feature on the handle allows a camera to be attached and the pole used as a monopod. This attachment can be swivelled to allow horizontal or vertical photo compositions. Quality is very good, but as stated by 7dayshop, don't rely on the compass!!
14/04/2015
A very good value piece of kit, shame the compass is so poor it does not work, otherwise a very good value item
14/04/2015
This is agreat piece of kit I have backtrouble & find this very useful, also a great monopod for our cameras
14/04/2015
As a walking pole and monopod for photography.
13/04/2015
Well made and functional. It should help on trekking trips into the mountains.
13/04/2015
As described in the many positive reviews. Twist the poles not the joint to lengthen and tighten.
06/04/2015
Monopod is very good for the money.
05/04/2015
A great product and would recommend to my friends
26/03/2015
Use as a walking stick - but really handy for steadying a camera. A very well made product.. which I expect to last for years. All for a very good price (even with the delivery charge!)
25/03/2015
this stick is used every day when walking my dog first class. strong and comfortable in the hand. and i would recomend to others thank you.
25/03/2015
Exceptional value for money. Does exactly what I wanted it for - what more can you ask ?
25/03/2015
Being a senior citizen and keen on photography my friend recommended this item for when I go walking. I wanted to help stop camera shake and this is ideal.
24/03/2015
As a walking stick it is OK (Well worth the money) but add in the camera monopod facility and it is a must have for people who like capturing wildlife pictures off the beaten track
24/03/2015
This is a sturdy monopod that affords stability while taking photos in landscape or portrait orientation. And if you're normally a walking stick user, you only need to take one with you, rather than trying to manage a stick and a separate monopod. It's excellent quality at a really low price. It comes with snow and mud guards and two types of ferrule, so it's versatile, as well.
24/03/2015
very good product i use mainly as walking stick (i am waiting for summer) . service very good. many thanks. ***
24/03/2015
As camera mono stand whilst out walking this is a versatile piece of kit. Any photographer who struggles to carry all their eqpt and a tripod might like this. Quality is very good and it is light.
24/03/2015
very good for price
23/03/2015
If you walk through sticky mud you may lose the rubber ferrule other wise it's very good.
23/03/2015
I was looking for a monopod and found this. As my wife and I enjoy walking we thought this was a brilliant idea and bought one each. The quality was far better than expected for the price, but then that's whst you get from 7dayshop.
23/03/2015
The walking pole / monopod seems well constructed and works perfectly in both modes . I bought two, one for myself and the other for my grandson who is a keen video maker. He couldn't believe the low price for such a useful device. It is a bit heavier than my other stick but I intend using it as a monopod.
21/03/2015
the mono pod walking pole is first class and will come in handy on my walks and for taking photos
20/03/2015
walking and camera. would recommend it to anyone
19/03/2015
Great combination of sturdy walking stick and monopod in one .
19/03/2015
Use as a walking stick mainly, with the option of using it as a monopod.
19/12/2014
Handy piece of kit, looks well engineered, keen price.
18/12/2014
As others have reported, the compass is useless other than as a cover for the camera screw but the pole looks sound and for under ?5 you can't complain!
17/12/2014
all very good
17/12/2014
Used for hill walking. Excellent product for the price.
17/12/2014
Lightweight and easy to use which is what I wanted as I intend to use this when travelling in the far east.
16/12/2014
Novel product, not only a camera monopod and a walking pole, it also has a compass in the handle - just brilliant!
16/12/2014
Great value for the price paid.
15/12/2014
this the second one I have lost 1st. one, shows how good it is to buy again
15/12/2014
I bought two of these, one for my granddaughter and one for myself. For my granddaughter its for when she is hiking with the guides the one for myself is for when my wife and myself go walking it's good to have something to help over rough torane and to use as a handy camera tripod
15/12/2014
The product seems rather delicate although I haven't used it outside yet. I do wonder if it will support much weight.
10/12/2014
I've bought the 7dayshop monopod and the Hama monopod they are both cheaper than anywhere else I could find on the internet. At 80 years of age the anti-shock feature makes walking much more comfortable my hands are a bit shaky now so as a camera steady they both do an excellent job.
08/12/2014
Replacement monopod lost previous one. This one much better. Light and practical
20/11/2014
Fantastic value, but don't rely on the compass!
10/11/2014
good quality, to help me with walking
06/11/2014
These are excellent value walking sticks. I bought one a while ago and I've now bought another two so that I can keep them in various places. They're nice and strong without being too heavy and I'm happy with the hand grip options. The compass attachment is a bit naff and on one of them reads the opposite of what it should, but I didn't buy them for that.
06/11/2014
Handy gadget to have if you like Aviation photography.
02/11/2014
Quite good and strong, although the tripod bush arrangement will only cope with relatively light cameras/DSLRs - and I think the compass is little pointless because it is rather too small to be of any real use.
28/10/2014
As a walking aid mainly but have not used much at all with camera, Would expect goos standard performance as with a ghular monopod
27/10/2014
Good quality, not used yet, have 'tested' in doors and seems strong enough for most situations.
24/10/2014
A very good pole that easily and quickly extends and can be used as a walking stick as well as a walking pole, with two qualifications;. i) the compass is not damped so is really only a toy to protect the threaded end of the pole, and. ii) the bottom section of the pole is of very narrow tube and should not be extended unless using the pole as a monopod. I am 6' 2" and found the top two sections sufficient.
23/10/2014
Wrist strap is poor otherwise a great product
21/10/2014
First class and useful
11/10/2014
.good
02/10/2014
I HAVE NOT HAD A REAL OPPORTUNITY TO USE YET AS A WALKING STICK AND/AS MONOPOD, BUT I EXPECT IT PERFORM OK FOR MU PERSONAL LEVEL OF USAGE
30/09/2014
For the price could not go wrong. It is as the description on line. Brought as a gift and was well received.
26/09/2014
useful.
25/09/2014
I bought this item for a friend who enjoys walking and recently bought a bridge camera. The `monopod` element of the stick is ideal. Excellent value for money
20/09/2014
Very good quality, used them on several walks already
18/09/2014
I bought this mainly as monopod, but the idea of combining it with a walking pole I thought rather a good one. It compares favourably with other poles that I have and seems excellent value for the money.
17/09/2014
This really is a decent pole for the money - the cushioning feature works, the pole has a good length with suitable adjustability. The compass however is silly and useless - don't know why they bothered with it.
16/09/2014
Very good services thank you.
12/09/2014
Looks good, not been used yet
09/09/2014
Use when walking the dog. Ideal item if you hike. Very good quality item.
05/09/2014
There is no facility for locking the camera at varying angles of rotation, only fully screwed on to the base, which is arbitrary, particularly in the 90 degree turned down position. This can be very limiting in use. There is normally a locking ring.
03/09/2014
Good quality and price second to none. Ideal hiking stick and the advantage of attaching camera to it to take photo. Saves me carrying a monopod.
03/09/2014
Much cheaper than than competition. I did trip and break the handle of which is why I only give it 4. But I did buy another one so that must say something
02/09/2014
Great idea
02/09/2014
I needed to get out in the fresh Air, and my camera is always with me, so the mono pod is epic as a Walking stick, and once the Camera is attached, an Epic Monopod, and always an exceptional reasonable Price.
01/09/2014
Good quality, better than ex[ected
01/09/2014
I use this pole on walks and would recommend to all Ramblers, will use camera conection when required
31/08/2014
Excellent value for money
31/08/2014
Seems sturdily made and should do the job for a remarkably low price. You're almost guaranteed to lose the "accessories" but I'm not convinced of their value anyhow. The compass on mine works OK and could come in handy occasionally. The pole is rigid enough to hold a small/medium-sized camera steady enough for longish exposures. All in all, a handy piece of kit.
30/08/2014
Works fine good value for money
29/08/2014
I bought it for my self but have not been able to use it at this moment in time. For the cost it looks good.
29/08/2014
Quality walking pole
29/08/2014
I extended it to far the first time as there was no stop and found it difficult to refit it.
28/08/2014
a little flimsy for heavy duty use but it's a good product that I would happily recommend
28/08/2014
Very Good
28/08/2014
monopod
27/08/2014
Very good valu indeed, the monopod does what 'It says on the tin' very well.
27/08/2014
I used this product to climb Slieve Donard, Northern Ireland's tallest mountain at the weekend. Sturdy and lightweight, and I look forward to using the monopod feature with my SLR camera.
27/08/2014
As previous comments, the compass not brilliant, but hey, it doesn't matter. Good all round performance, taking photo's made easier using this Multi-purpose walking pole/monopod, they turned out sharper due to being kept steady, especially by someone like me, who seems to have a problem keeping still. Recommended
27/08/2014
A very good price so I bought but have not used yet so cannot review in use
27/08/2014
A useful addition and one I wish I had bought earlier.
27/08/2014
Product is exactly as described. Not used yet outside of the house, but should be useful for their planned use in 2015 (Got them early whilst stocks last etc!!!). Changing the ferruls is easy and fitting the camera to the mount as easy as any tripod (tested on my work Nikon Coolpix S8100) Standard fittings for cameras so worth the small outlay
27/08/2014
Excellent quality product. Ideal for hiking/ or walking the dog. and for holding camera steady
26/08/2014
Good price, good quality and very versatile.
26/08/2014
Great quality,great price!
26/08/2014
If you are a photographer and walk a long way to obtain that perfect shot , this is the stick for you. This is value for money.
26/08/2014
Works well good value for money
26/08/2014
haven't used product yet but looks good and useful .. not sure I would use as a walking pole I have my own but as a monopod for heavy DSLR .. great .. recommend to photographers/walkers.
26/08/2014
The Multi-Purpose Anti-shock walking pole and camera monopod works well. It seems to be very solidly built. It supports my Canon EOS 700D well, which is not exactly light weight.
26/08/2014
For the price I don't think you can go wrong with this. As a walking pole it seems sturdy enough, with enough attachments to use on most terrains. As a monopod, it easily supports my DSLR and provides a sturdy platform for those all important shots that rely on the camera being held steady. It can be a bit fiddly to extend the rods to the height that you want, but with practice it does become easier. A few instructions on what and how to twist and pull would have been useful. All in all I'm very happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone wanting a steady rest for their camera.
26/08/2014
A comprehensive product - not used for the camera option as yet, but it should be fine for compacts.. probably not for bridge or DSLR, but that's not really the market. Well made as a budget walking pole - operates as designed. Well specced for accessories.
26/08/2014
Well made stick which seems to do as is published
26/08/2014
I belong to a camera club and they were impressed with the product
26/08/2014
Such a versatile stick and very well made. My five year old grandson is over the moon with his. In its shortest mode . it just the right size for him so it will grow with him, he says he will look after it until he is a man.
26/08/2014
Use as intended ! Great.
26/08/2014
Great value for money and a fast service.
26/08/2014
A product of superb quality and a fantastic price.
26/08/2014
Useful item
26/08/2014
excellent
26/08/2014
Very useful kit, albeit could be more robust. Great value for the price paid. Dont expect it to support a 500mm lens, but will hold a bridge camera or a compact.
26/08/2014
Walking pole and camera steady when tripod to much to carry
26/08/2014
Have not really used yet so cannot give full marks but it assembled ok and was quite easy to work.
26/08/2014
Great value for money.
26/08/2014
Useful tool
26/08/2014
I spend a lot of time walking in the countryside and I take a lot of pictures of wildlife this stick with the camera attachment will allow me to take crisper photos. The quality and build is excellent.
25/08/2014
Very good product even if the handle could be sor=fter. Packing not so good as box had burst open at the end. I would recommend.
25/08/2014
Being a keen photographer and unsteady on my feet due to age I have found this is very useful
25/08/2014
great products
25/08/2014
Braw
25/08/2014
I do like to walk and being disabled this product helps me, and its very good being able to use the accessories for my photography.
25/08/2014
very good and ideal for my video camera
25/08/2014
good quality product recommended.
25/08/2014
Obviously when walking. I like the attachments, even though it is a little heavy.
25/08/2014
Wanted it for a wading staff for fishing, up till now its doing the job OK. Would of got 5^ but the compass is as much use as a kick in the head. Saying that, I'll never use it, I'll have the camera on instead.
25/08/2014
So much better than I was expecting!
23/08/2014
Not had a chance to go walking with the pole yet, but it seems sturdy enough, is properly sprung, and the height adjusters work correctly. Camera mounting is OK for standard landscape pictures, but even when brand new, the 90 degree swivel for taking a portrait format picture is not stiff enough to keep even my smallish compact camera upright without the help of my fingers, difficult to do, but just enough for me be able to use the monopod to get a sharp picture of the text printed on an indifferently lit A4 sheet of paper pinned to a notice board.
23/08/2014
Excellent all round . In values and the quality of the product. Ten out of ten.
23/08/2014
excellent
23/08/2014
Value for money was excellent. I have not used the product yet which will be used for hiking and as a camera monopod. An opportunity to use it may arise next week. I have tried to recommend it to others but they are disinterested. They have their own solutions.
23/08/2014
For the price, this is really good value. The quality is better than expected for the money, and the poles (bought two) will get a lot of use trekking the Cornish moors and coastline.
23/08/2014
Bought it for my son, a keen photographer and amature film maker, because it looked useful and was so cheap that if it turned out to be junk it wouldn't really matter. However, we were very pleasanly surprised - works a treat, should last a while, and is light and easy to carry around. Works well as a walking pole too!
23/08/2014
For the price it could not been better. It arrived very quickly.
23/08/2014
Product seems sturdy enough, should do the job it is meant for.
23/08/2014
The walking poles I use mainly as a monopod, they are of excellent quality and I would recommend them. The compass is very useful.
23/08/2014
Good walking stick with added advantage of providing a secure base for photos. Easier than a tripod on a mountain.
23/08/2014
Fabulous value! Great for assisted walking/hiking with the added feature of a camera mount for a steady platform while out walking. So good I bought 2 and gave one to my best mate!
22/08/2014
I recommended it to a friend
22/08/2014
Package was "open" when it arrived and one piece missing. It was a piece I would not use, so no follow up made.
22/08/2014
Walking & Photography
22/08/2014
Only issue is that handle element for grasping is shorter than on standard sticks.
22/08/2014
Versatile product, value for money and useful accessory.
22/08/2014
God looking prodigy will use in Cumbria bank holiday weekend
22/08/2014
I use it as an adjustable walking stick as I need a hip replacement. Anyone could make use of this as a walking pole or stick. The item is of good quality.
22/08/2014
Not used yet but looks good and is exactly as described.
22/08/2014
Excellent product ideally suited for 'on the go' photography.
22/08/2014
This is for a gift, so I haven't used it, but it looks good and robust and has all the attachments to make it useful.
19/08/2014
Nordic walking
09/08/2014
to help with walking
07/08/2014
I myself have a mobility disability and this anti shock walking stick is a huge benefit to me on rough terrain thank you
02/08/2014
This is a great product for walking and taking photographs at an unbeatable price. Sturdy and comfortable to use with quick action opening and closing. Best to practice the opening and closing of the stick as it can be a little sticky due to user error!
30/07/2014
For the price I paid I am very happy. This walking pole with the camera Tripod Mount Adapter is brilliant. The small digital camera I use stays on when walking. The larger DSLR camera fits on when required and the walking pole becomes a monopod. I have yet to see a cheap monopod. P.S. I was up Ben Nevis when I first saw this in use and had to ask the guy where he got it from.
28/07/2014
Excellent. Several options included for the pointed end! Replaces my hiking stick and my monopod.
16/07/2014
I use it as a prop for my camera
14/07/2014
Very pleased with the quilty don't know how it it preforms as I haven't used it yet.
12/07/2014
Very nice walking stick - my wife uses hers at work rather than use an 'old lady' stick!
11/07/2014
VERY STURDY AND GREAT VARIATION. IN HEIGHT USE.
03/07/2014
Before I had to carry a monopod as well as use a stick to aid walking. Now I have a lightweight combined aid.
02/07/2014
These are very useful for all types of walking be it on the flat or hilly .
02/07/2014
Great product, highly recommend
02/07/2014
Lets put this into context. This product was ?8.98 delivered. The Pole is probably suitable for point and shoot cameras, and lower end small bridge or DSLR cameras with light weight lens. This isn't suitable for a middle to high end DSLR or for big heavy pro level lens. As a walking pole there are a few design issues. It looks like someone has looked at a tick list and tried to include them without really knowing why. It has a removable compass which only just about works. It has a foam grip below the normal handle which again ticks a box but is of little use. The biggest issue I have with this product is somebody decided to put raised little stars on both side of the handle, possibly to add to the grip, but all they do is shred the pad on the palm of my hand and fingers. All that being said, it was ?9 delivered. If you want this for occasional use for a lightweight camera or to use something like a go-pro over a crowd this is perfect, and you could probably get 6 of these for the same price as a Go-Pole (just without the jointed mount). If you need a serious monopod and walking pole to help you do some landscape/nature photography this is a waste of money. If you are fit and able and don't need a pole for support, or maybe want to take pictures/video from a different angle this is more than up to the job and could save you 4 or 5 times the price.
02/07/2014
A quality walking stick/mono pod.well made and easily adjusted.
01/07/2014
does what it says on the tin
01/07/2014
as above
01/07/2014
used for walking
01/07/2014
Have yet to "road test" it but it appears to have all,if not more capabilities than is needed to suit my requirements
01/07/2014
Walking and photography
01/07/2014
I use this for a walkabout stick when birdwatching etc and as a monopod for shooting telephoto. At the price it cannot be beaten.
01/07/2014
Ok for only ?7 but camera thread stripped after a little use. Ok as a walking pole though.
01/07/2014
Not had a chance to use it yet but seems well made at a fantastic price. Saw it elsewhere at twice the price. Probably keep it in the car for when I'm out and about.
01/07/2014
good product
30/06/2014
Sturdy design and very practical features. Have not used it much yet but hope to soon..
30/06/2014
Good quality walking support, lightweight yet strong. monopod gives a steady for those awkward times when you don't have your tripod with you. Pity about the cheap compass, not much use at all, but over all very good product.
30/06/2014
excellent quality product would recommend
30/06/2014
Very useful Good value
23/06/2014
Recovering from hip fracture was a great help when transitioning from crutches. Great walking stick, ideal for photographers with a monopod fitting on the top.
20/06/2014
used by my wife and friends with walking issues - very good quality and price
20/06/2014
This is a great product that I can recommend. The only down side is the fact that the latest one is to replace two perfectly good ones where the rubber feet, paws etc have warn out. It's a shame that they can't be purchased separately. I'm aware that they are cheap but it is a shame to have a couple of good working ones that simply need rubber feet replacements.
17/06/2014
Very nice pole - the compass was broken but 7dayshop sent out a replacement promptly. Light strong and easy to use.
13/06/2014
Multi functional and really good build quality.
13/06/2014
Very Good.
27/05/2014
Use for walking and photography - the compass is useless. Excellent product for the price.
27/05/2014
Good little item which does exactly as described. Can be used as a walking or thumb stick, or as a rest for photography or binoculars. I use it with a monocular. Only criticism is that the instructions are not clear about how to extend and retract the pole, in fact I managed to break the lower section trying to adjust it, but some Araldite sorted that.
15/05/2014
Ideal for walking with a camera, a and seems quite robust for the price
10/05/2014
Have used on a walk to test the stick. Ideal; for walking with. My DSLR camera fits onto the stick as described, so should be ideal for use when needed.
10/05/2014
Not used yet but having lost a previous one I can see it matches quality.
08/05/2014
Looks exactly how i thought it would - looking forwsrd to using them out
07/05/2014
Not the most robust walking pole on the market, but good value for money and it provides excellent flexibility when out walking with your camera.
05/05/2014
I use the stick when out walking with my camera when I don't want to carry a tripod
01/05/2014
Excellent value for money and a camera monopod to boot!
30/04/2014
Good
30/04/2014
walking & photography. very good quality. recommend to anyone interested.
30/04/2014
As a disabled person I use a stick for additional stability and I wanted one that was telescopic so that it would fit into the boot of my car. This product fits the bill perfectly.
26/04/2014
Bought specifically for a forthcoming trekking holiday in ***, this is an great product - not only a walking pole but a tripod as well - perfect for my *** cameras. Sturdily built, anti-shock pole, easily adjusted to required height, it's light enough to carry in my rucksack.
26/04/2014
excellent for walkers with the compass ideal to change into a camera stand.excellent item and the price .
25/04/2014
looks well made
25/04/2014
I hope to use the monopod when walking on a holiday shortly to be taken in Austria. I have known sturdier poles, but it appears quite strong and adaptable enough for me.
23/04/2014
very good on all aspects
22/04/2014
Not been used as yet. Build quality and opperation very good. ***
22/04/2014
Good value for money, and works ok.
22/04/2014
ideal walking pole which can be used for long lens photography.
22/04/2014
Excellent idea for trekking
22/04/2014
This product was received in good condition and does what it says. Happy
22/04/2014
This is very useful just for every day walking and then to be able to use it with my camera, a lot of uses with just carrying one piece of equipment, excellent!!!
22/04/2014
I use these personally, very happy with product
22/04/2014
Quality looks good but have yet to use the product.
22/04/2014
I was in an outdoor shop earlier on the same day, looking at a ?75 walking pole with tripod mount, when the 7DayShop email arrived. What I saw was an even more versatile pole, with the ability to turn the mount through 90 degrees, for.. wait for it.. ?4.99! It actually cost more to ship the item, than the item itself due to the fact it wasn't 'postable'. But still, even with next day courier charges taken into account, it was 750% cheaper than the one in the shop! And it's brilliant. Shock absorber - tick. Easy to extend and retract - tick. Sturdy mount for a compact camera - tick. Compass cover for the tripod mount - bonus! You will not be disappointed.
22/04/2014
Great as a hiking stick, the compass is somewhat useless but generally a nice sturdy bit of kit.
21/04/2014
Used for photography. Very useful to keep in the car.
18/04/2014
Good product same price as aldi but with the camera screw. Good design.
08/04/2014
High shipping cost - otherwise excellent value
05/04/2014
I bought these as walking the other week I felt I needed a walking pole and looking elsewhere this one was far cheaper as the assesories that come with it are extra else where I have shown it too some others and they like it
25/03/2014
Although the compass is not much use due to imbalance and sticking, the monopod walking stick is otherwise extremely good value for money. Also found that the compass will not stay in due to the fact that the 1/4" camera thread pushes it out when the holder is tightened - had to re-engineer it into place using double-sided sticky pad cut to washer shape, this bit is badly designed.
17/03/2014
Excellent quality for the price
16/03/2014
I bought this item after reading other reviews and I was not disappointed. The pole is just as described and I am delighted with it.
07/03/2014
great will recomend to my video club
06/03/2014
This is currently a gift which has not yet been given as the occasion has not yet arrived but write-up indicates it well suited for purpose.
05/03/2014
Excellent for general walking if you just need a little support plus it's a excellent monopod.
18/02/2014
Excellent value.
18/02/2014
I purchased this for my brother who is into out door/wildlife photography. He is retiring soon and I thought this would be a dual purpose item, helping him with his walking up hills and holding the camera steady. The produce is well made and robust too. I would recommend this to anyone who is just needing that extra help in walking and taking pictures but does not want to carry an extra tripod
31/01/2014
Bought the Hama equivalent from 7 day shop a couple of years ago, which is excellent.I promised myself I would buy a second one. This is the same, but with more accessories and a cheaper price.
18/01/2014
great product, great value, very fast delivery.
17/01/2014
This was for me have walking stick almost the same ( cannot be used as mono pod ) so will be great for my photography
17/01/2014
Camera club members
17/01/2014
great product, great price
16/01/2014
Haven't tried it yet but I see no reason why it wont do what it claims to do. It's a Walking Pole which doubles a a Monopod for a camera. must be better than carrying two things. It appears to be solidly built. At the price what have you got to lose.
14/01/2014
Very useful gadget as a monopod for movie camera and binoculars. Excellent quality
13/01/2014
Excellent product
30/12/2013
Bought as part of a Xmas gift selection. I have one of these monopods myself coupled with the knob and V mount bracket. really helps to steady your kit at slower speeds.
11/12/2013
what a great innovative product, ,I used it at a wedding to steady my camera, the professional photographer was so impressed, he bought it off me there and then!
06/12/2013
Christmas presents so can't comment yet
03/12/2013
excellent is the word no need for any others.
03/12/2013
The product arrived exactly as advertised, and in good condition. I am well satisfied.
02/12/2013
Lightweight but sturdy. Excellent value.

For Walking And Photography
29/11/2013
good bit fiddley
29/11/2013
Absolutely love this equipment. I have mini a tripod and a full tripod which are both used for different occasion. This monopod is excellent for me as I do a lot of walking with my dog throughout the UK and like to take my camera. I highly recommend it to walkers.
28/11/2013
great product
28/11/2013
I use the poles when out walking with my dogs-l suffer from arthritis and they give great support. They are are versatile product and could be used for all types of activity involving walking, whether it is on the flat or hillwalking.I often use mine as walking sticks.
28/11/2013
Not used as yet but looks good.
28/11/2013
Very good walking pole. Superior to others and great price.
26/11/2013
Not used these poles yet but they seem very sturdy excellent value for money with multiple attachments. Camera attachment is an added bonus.
23/11/2013
Good quality, easy to use and handy monopod point.
23/11/2013
Currently awaiting use by an avid elderly walker - it's a Xmas present !
23/11/2013
As a keen walker who uses walking poles and a photographer I bought the product based on reviews as it is often impractical to carry a tripod on longer walks. I have only used it once so far but it seems very good value for money.
22/11/2013
I bought this item for my 82 year old brother in law who is a keen photographer. He has had many years experience in his hobby and after using the item both as a walking pole and monopod he phoned me to say how very pleased he was with it in every respect.
22/11/2013
ok so far
22/11/2013
An additional widget on a walking pole to make it a monopod as well
13/11/2013
I'm disabled , they are light and strong,I bought a second pair because they are very good , so now have got a spare if I need them,. Regards cedcorah
13/11/2013
Will recommend to members of my camera club
12/11/2013
Ideal for combining my two hobbies of walking and photography
12/11/2013
Hiking with photography
07/11/2013
An excellent dual-purpose device at a very low price. I keep it in the boot of the car, because it's so compact, and so it's always ready for use.
07/11/2013
Inexpensive but adequate especially at the price, just too long to fit into airline hand luggage
07/11/2013
Quality product, extremely versatile, fantastic value
05/11/2013
bought as gift
02/11/2013
bargain
02/11/2013
Excellent piece of equipment for walking, also doubles up as a mono pod for your camera when out walking. Bought two.
01/11/2013
Very good value. It works well as a monopod and as a walking stick. A problem occurred with the rubber end which slipped off in black mud somewhere and so was lost; replacements seam not easily come by! The little compass also was not very secure and again flipped away in undergrowth.
29/10/2013
1st Class+++++
26/10/2013
The perfect item to accompany me on my walks around the lakes with the added bonus of the camera support.
25/10/2013
Great just what I wanted
25/10/2013
This is very good value.
25/10/2013
I bought this product to use for my photography plus general use too.I have recommended this to others too.
24/10/2013
Not had time to use it yet but it will be very useful out hiking and using as a support for the camera.
24/10/2013
Used with a small and very light digital video camera, which I'd previously found to be too light to hold steady. The monopod adds exactly the steadiness needed. I've not yet used it as a walking pole, but I'm sue it will be fine.
24/10/2013
used it as a walking aid the other day plan to take it on holiday and use with my camera
24/10/2013
Good quality for low price and a substitute for a heavy monopod
24/10/2013
Very good and useful item. Very pleased.
24/10/2013
great bit of kit, well made a must for any walker.
23/10/2013
I brought this for my wife has taken up walking seriously, she was really impressed with it, so much so that her son (who goes out with her and his partner) asked to try it out and was really impressed and threw his ones in the bin. I have since brought a second one for my wife and 2 for my step son for christmas. Good sturdy quality product, adjustable height, adjustable top and even a compass built in.
23/10/2013
Recommend without reservation.
16/10/2013
camera mount a bit stiff but not too much of a problem. Would be better if able to loosen and then tighten again.
13/10/2013
Used this on several walks and found it quite comfortable and useful as a monopod.
10/10/2013
use it when out walking instead of carrying a tripod with me
09/10/2013
Very good quality for the money.
09/10/2013
Feels really solid and SO versatile!. Comes with compass and various terrain adaptors. compass mount is also a camera mount. Light and stiff, just what I was looking for. Minor minour quibble, the wrist strap is tough but scratchy nylon.
09/10/2013
Price was good, carrier delivery was poor (I was in, but did not hear bell, found card telling me that they could re-deliver, but if I wanted better than a 12 hour window it would cost me several pounds. Basically, a scam.) . Haven't had the chance to use them yet, so can't really comment.
26/09/2013
As I am disabled and a keen photographer, this monopod/walking stick will prove very useful when I am on my travels at home and abroad.
26/09/2013
good allround use slite weak connstruction of the unit
18/09/2013
I thought it collapsed to original size, no matter how much I try , it won't. but it does come with lots of good accessories and once it's extended, its a excellent Monopod for standard size camera kit --- up to the size of a DSLR WITH STANDARD ZOOM LENS - Duo Trek Multi-Purpose Anti-Shock Walking Pole. The price I paid looked very cheap until the special size postal charge was added.
17/09/2013
Excellent product, great price and good quality - perfect.
17/09/2013
for walking and taking photos. good for anyone who does either of these
14/09/2013
Used most weeks as we have joined a local walking group, helps my wife where waling on uneven ground
14/09/2013
A superb walking pole or monopod. If you want both you will be very happy!
13/09/2013
Quality OK for the money which is remarkable. A useful item. The compass initially didn't work but 7. day shop replaced it immediately and it now works fine.
12/09/2013
all a stated before
11/09/2013
Poor construction too easy to pull right out
11/09/2013
A most useful product for local walks and photography
03/09/2013
to save me using a monopod and a walking stick suits me for short journeys with camera I would suggest even though it takes a lot of weight for big and heavy lens a bigger heavier one
02/09/2013
I bought two - not used mine yet as saving it for the winter when the ground is treacherous. The second one I have given to my Dad who is in his 90s and walks every day, whatever the weather. He thinks ordinary walking sticks are for wimps, so I'm encouraging him to use this one!
02/09/2013
Good quality and robust
01/09/2013
Useful camera mount for mono-pod use.
29/08/2013
hAVE NOT HAD A CHANCE TO USE YET. SEEMS GOOD THOUGH
29/08/2013
I did not order this intentionally!! it came and it looks good so I have retained it!!!
28/08/2013
For it's price it's fantastic value. Sturdier than I expected and useful with it's variable length.
28/08/2013
This had to be replaced as the camera mount was broken. It was replaced quickly with no fuss. Very pleased with product, sturdy.
28/08/2013
Very good price. A bit fiddly to adjust the length but once sorted looks very good value
27/08/2013
Good for a light camera monopod . not for a DSLR too light. **** to camera fitting flimsy. Good as a dog walking stick. Good purchase use it daily
27/08/2013
speedy service and good quality items.
27/08/2013
Brilliant. Great idea, good price.
24/08/2013
Excellent value for money.Slightly heavier that a normal walking pole but provides a good stable balance for my Canon 500D.
23/08/2013
Often a multi-purpose item is not very good at any function. This one bucks the trend and provides a very functional walking pole / stick and mono-pod. I particularly like the tilting head.
23/08/2013
Good variety of functions, useful for supporting camera in all terrains!
22/08/2013
Great idea, often took walking poles, not easy to take monopod/tripod as well so problem now solved.
21/08/2013
Awesome idea, let down slightly by the final rotation position of the camera on the mount being non-adjustable. So if you screw your camera on it ends up in whatever position the thread points to when fully tightened; this isn't always the right position if you want to use the monopod with the tilt feature mount. I got round this by shimming out the base of my Kodak camcorder with a sliver of cardboard, so no big worries, but I was stumped for a few moments wondering how I was going to actually point the camera in the direction I wanted to! Everything else works great!
21/08/2013
Knee problems necessitate the assistance of a walking stick and the monopod aspect was an added convenience bonus. The item works well enough as a monopod but fitting a ball-head tilt-pan socket made it far more adaptable. A reducing bush was needed to convert the monopod screw to fit the ball-head but these are easily available. A useful bit of kit.
21/08/2013
Great Value for money. Having used a top name pole/monopod for over 10 years it was unfortunately time to replace a comfortable, useful walking companion. The Email about this item came at just the right time. The price even before the discount, was way below what I was expecting to pay, and at the offer price was worth a try. It is a good quality walking pole, and comes with various foot attachments for snow, mud etc. It is comfortable to use, although I am used to a soft, unmoulded hand grip. After a week or so I am happy with it. (you could extend a little more and use the soft grip lower down, but I don't think the wrist strap could be used). As a monopod it works fine, and I appreciate the facility to shoot in portrait mode. This will not replace my real monopod or tripod, it was never intended to. It is an aid to my photography and as such does it's job well. I use a fairly large DSLR with either 18-200 or 75-300 zoom lenses and the monopod is better than hand-held shooting, especially as most of my work is landscape and natural history. I use this pole EVERY day. I walk and photograph in forests, mountains and fields and so far it feels as comfortable well built and useful as my previous top brand pole. In fact more useful because of the portrait mode. Minus point - the little compass is more of a novelty. useful to give an indication of direction only. This does not bother me, firstly as I always have a real compass in my camera bag, and secondly I have replaced it with the V attachment purchased at the same time and reviewed separately. Another use not included in the description - with no foot attachment, I can use the pole to pick up my dog's floating retrieve toy through it's cord loop and throw it without bending down or getting wet hands!. I would recommend this pole for casual and serious walkers, whether you take photographs with a compact or DSLR.
20/08/2013
Excellent value for money, though I'd rather have had a small detachable ball-head rather than a rather silly little compass at the top of the stick. Still, it's easily adjustable and does its job as an occasional monopod.
20/08/2013
Good quality for price paid will use as intended camera pole and walking stick, compass is naff but didn't expect or need good one just use to cover thread.
19/08/2013
As described. First product faulty, remedied by sending another immediately. Great customer service.
19/08/2013
Seems to be a decently made pole for the price, which will be used as a monopod more than likely ( not yet used ).
17/08/2013
Great mono pod, very good value for the price, would recommend.
17/08/2013
satisfactory would recommend to readers
17/08/2013
packed away as a present for my son
16/08/2013
it fit this purpose well
16/08/2013
This will be very useful both as a walking pole and a monopod. The different tips provided are also a good idea
16/08/2013
Looks good, but have yet to try it out "in the field" -- next month, I hope, when we expect to be taking a brief holiday.
16/08/2013
Great product well made steadies camera in many ways. Very light but sturdy enough to take weight when used as a walking/trekking stick.
16/08/2013
Product not yet in use. Ask me again later.
16/08/2013
Ideal for hill walking and Photographers. Saves carrying a separate Tripod
16/08/2013
Great pod at a great price.
16/08/2013
I found the walkingstick handle a little short and narrow. As a walking pole it is good.
16/08/2013
For the price I paid this was an excellent buy.
16/08/2013
Good value but not of the highest quality.
15/08/2013
Good price
15/08/2013
As I use a walking stick already, the monopod allows me to use a walking stick and gives me an added advantage of being able to pursue my hobby as well.
15/08/2013
Great and useful tool when out with the camera.
15/08/2013
Not bad quality, instructions a bit sparse, no warning about extending too far.
15/08/2013
Use as a monopod.
15/08/2013
This is a great product for the price. Normally multi-purpose items don't do anything properly but I can't fault this one!
15/08/2013
I am a partially disabled person and find the adjustable stick very convenient
15/08/2013
very useful
15/08/2013
I buy so many different things - all at good prices & delivered promptly
15/08/2013
To be used as a walking stick and as a monopod
15/08/2013
Could not ask for better
15/08/2013
good product with some compromises to make it adaptable
15/08/2013
Good idea, but a little cheap and difficult to adjust, also one of the compasses was broken, but I suppose value for money.
15/08/2013
I use the monopod for taking photos while I'm hill walking and since they are of very good quality I would recommend to hill walking photographers that I know
15/08/2013
Good value, light and easily carried, good as a walking stick. To use as a monopod for photography simply unscrew the compass and screw the pole into base of camera. Very simple to use. Would have no problem recommending this to photographers of all levels.
15/08/2013
No further comment
15/08/2013
Brilliant dual use
15/08/2013
I use it to help with my walking every day after three strokes, walking poles are far better than walking sticks in my opinion. No jarring your wrists when putting it down on pavements which are uneven, which most are.
15/08/2013
Very useful multipurpose walking pole.Seems sturdy and well made.
15/08/2013
just the job - great idea to include the camera monipod function
15/08/2013
a very useful bit of kit, I use it when out walking in the countryside taking pictures to paint.
15/08/2013
with camera
15/08/2013
Great piece of kit. Could use being a little thicker, with foot in strap to secure shot.. Feels a touch flimsy.. But all in for the price good equipment, works well.!
15/08/2013
Good value walking stick/poles with benefit of camera mount on top
15/08/2013
For photography on mountain walks.
15/08/2013
Good price. But a little flimsy.
15/08/2013
Used for country walks and photograpy and would recommend to anyone with similar hobbies
15/08/2013
This is an excellent product as a walking aid as well as a support for the camera. The ice grip will be useful too when winter comes in. For the money it is a bargain.
15/08/2013
Well made, ideal for photographers.
15/08/2013
I am pleased with the product and have used it both as a monopod and as a walking pole. It works well in both respects. The added feature of a compass is a bit of a waste though. It is not accurate enough to be of any use - a good idea: poorly executed. My only complaint about the pole itself is that it has raised "stars" on either side of the handle and they would rub your hand and cause damage if used regularly (or often).
15/08/2013
My initial impressions are that this Monopod/Walking Pole is rather fiddly, will take a bit of getting used to. I have not used it in the 'great outdoors' yet so will not comment further. Pity that the delivery charge was more than the cost of the monopod..!!!
15/08/2013
Another Christmas present
15/08/2013
good service and good value
15/08/2013
I use a walking stick due to medical reasons, this stick is first rate for several reasons. Firstly I can adjust the height easily, secondly the shock absorber is a great asset. Then to top it off, I always have a mono-pod for taking great pictures
15/08/2013
I use me pole for walking on my exercise trips
28/07/2013
Bought as a quick stabiliser for camera but it is also a very robust walking aid.
24/07/2013
excellent price and quality for the money
24/07/2013
Brilliant product no need for separate hiking pole and monopod anymore
