By law, at any time - day or night, when driving in Europe you must convert your headlamps to avoid dazzling other road users.
UK headlamps are designed for driving on the left-hand side of the road and without adjustment the dipped beam could dazzle oncoming drivers. This is a compulsory requirement in most European countries and on the spot fines can be issued if beam converters are not installed.
They must be used at all times when driving abroad - night or day (inc, rain, fog etc). But remember to remove the converters as soon as you return to the UK.
These converters allow you to adjust your headlamps for driving on the right-hand side of the road, altering the beam's pattern, which is different to those fitted on European left-hand-drive vehicles. They are suitable for all vehichles and include individual fitting diagrams for the latest 'Clear Glass Headlamps', 'Projector' and 'Xenon,' and 'Glass Line Pattern' headlamps inside the packaging.
