Benefit from Thinsulate insulation in virtually all weather conditions, from cool autumn days to Siberian winters!
Main features of 3M Thinsulate are:
Improved insulation properties over normal materials.
Softer and lighter in weight than equivalent materials.
Improved freedom of movement and more compressible too.
More breathable, reduces build up of moisture from sweat.
Machine washable and may be dry cleanable too.
Thinsulate is one of the warmest clothing insulations on the market yet still thin enough to allow complete freedom of movement. Thinsulate insulation works by trapping air molecules between you and the outside. The more air a material traps in a given space, the greater its insulating value. Because the microfibres in Thinsulate insulation are much finer than other fibres, they trap more air in less space, which naturally makes it a better insulator. So whilst 3M haven't repealed the laws of nature with their thin insulation; they have simply obeyed it better and to your advantage!
